Nigella Is Back! Spotted in Our Giant Willow Blue Kimono

A showstopper in Giant Willow Blue

While the bakers were waiting for their bread to rise this week, Nigella Lawson caught our eye in a different kind of showstopper: our Giant Willow Blue Kimono!

Making her debut as a judge on The Great British Bake Off this season, Nigella has been a wonderful new addition to the tent. This week, she joined Jon Richardson, Judi Love and her fellow judge Paul Hollywood on The Great British Bake Off: Second Helpings, the companion show offering a behind-the-scenes look at the week's bakes and everything happening in the tent.

For us, seeing Nigella wearing One Hundred Stars again made this week's episode all the more special. Back in our early days, Nigella was one of the first celebrities to wear our designs, stepping out in our much-loved Venice Map Gown. Now, years later, she's wearing one of our signature prints, and we couldn't be more delighted!

A recipe for a full-circle moment

When we first started out, seeing Nigella wear our Venice Map Gown was a particularly special moment for us. Having one of our designs worn by such a recognisable face was incredibly exciting, and it's a memory that has stayed with us over the years.

Since then, One Hundred Stars has grown, our collections have evolved, and our prints have found their way into wardrobes and onto screens around the world. We've been lucky enough to spot our designs on some wonderful familiar faces, including Amy Adams, Jamie Lee Curtis and Annette Bening, each wearing one of our beautiful gowns.

Every appearance is exciting in its own right, but seeing Nigella wearing One Hundred Stars again feels particularly meaningful. It's a lovely connection between our early days and the brand we've become today, and a reminder of just how far we've come.

A signature print, a familiar face

This time, it's our Giant Willow print taking centre stage.

Giant Willow has been part of the One Hundred Stars story for many years, becoming one of our signature designs along the way. With its distinctive willow-inspired motif and beautiful botanical details, it's a print that has earned its place in our collections and continues to capture our imagination.

Over the years, we've brought Giant Willow to life in different colourways, giving this much-loved design a fresh personality with each new interpretation. From Giant Willow Violet to Giant Willow Green, and now the beautiful blue tones of the Kimono Nigella wore, each version offers a different way to enjoy one of our signature prints.

There's something particularly lovely about seeing a design with so much history worn by someone who was part of our story right from the beginning. Giant Willow Blue has given us another moment to celebrate, and we couldn't think of a better reason to revisit one of our favourite prints.

A little style to savour

Of course, we couldn't let a Bake Off appearance pass without a little baking wordplay! While the bakers have been busy kneading dough and creating their showstoppers, Nigella has served up a rather lovely style moment of her own.

And if there's one thing we've learnt over the years, it's that a good print never goes stale. From our early days to this latest sighting, we're always thrilled to see One Hundred Stars being worn, styled and enjoyed in new ways.

We're incredibly proud of how far the brand has come, and moments like this are a wonderful reminder of the people, prints and memories that have helped shape our journey.

Here's to another helping of Giant Willow, a little nostalgia, and many more moments worth celebrating!
